Despite Late Comeback, Tech falls to Fort Hamilton.

On Saturday, Brooklyn Tech opened the season against Fort Hamilton at Wang Field. Nick Fuertes made it 3-0 when he kicked a 38 yard field goal on the first drive. A fumbled snap on a Tech punt led to a touchdown for Fort Hamilton. Halftime the score was 12-3 with Fort Hamilton in the lead. In the third quarter Fort Hamilton added a score to make it 18-3. Tech came back to take the lead 19-18 after scores from Tristan Brown, Elijah Rueda and Lawrence Menyah. Terrance Battle blocked a Fort Hamilton punt. Late in the fourth quarter Fort Hamilton picked off a tipped pass for a touchdown. Elijah Rueda then threw two interceptions late in the game after throwing downfield. Nathaniel Simmons had a late safety for tech.

Tech takes on Grand Street Campus this Sunday at home. Game time is noon and concessions will be available.
