A balanced offensive attack and strong defense brought another victory home for the Engineers, this week defeating the Adams Spartans in Queens.
Elijah Rueda threw touchdown passes to Lawrence Menyah and Deon Mash of 61 and 51 yards, respectively. Captain Tristan Brown accounted for 205 yards of total offense. For the 4th straight game, the offensive line did not give up a sack.
The Tech defense was highlighted by the defensive line. The D-line’s strong play included multiple tackles for loss by PJ Landers and Mohammad Eldaly, with Landers adding a safety in the second half. Grey Abraxas and Deon Mash also had sacks. Mohamed Tahmid intercepted a pass as well.
Tech faces Port Richmond in Staten Island this Saturday. With three games to go, Tech will be back home for Senior Day on October 26th and at Erasmus on November 3.
After losing Minju Kim to an ankle injury, Tech JV fell to Adams. Paul Painin played well rushing the ball for the Tech offense.
