Brooklyn Tech Football honored the senior football players and their families this past Saturday at the final home game vs Boys High. The field was dressed once again with large banners of each senior football player. The photos were taken by An Rong Xu, a Tech football alum, and they were laid out by Maja Szychowska, mother of Grey Abraxas. The families of the seniors were presented with flowers by the player they have supported through the years of football at Tech. The cheerleaders were also honored and threw their annual end-of-the-year party following the game.
Unfortunately, the game was lopsided 28-6 win for Boys High. Turnovers halted multiple Tech drives, but there were some bright spots on offense with a 63 yard reception by Deon Mash and five catches from Alpha Gamby. Elijah Rueda and Tristan Brown can both pass the 1000 yard mark for passing and rushing, respectively, with strong showings this weekend. The Engineers will take on the defending city champs, the Erasmus Hall Dutchmen, this Sunday at Erasmus Field. Kickoff is at noon.
