The April 1st milestone of the Brooklyn Tech Football Vesting Period is upon us. Later today, players will submit their offseason resume and application to the Leadership Council and Coaching staff, in an attempt at being “patched in” to a 2015 roster spot.
The first Vesting Period lasts from January 21st through April 1. Players must complete 60 hours in the weight room (unless they are a multi-sport athlete), 4 hours of community service, maintain academic and disciplinary accountability, participate in and present seminars on leadership, as well as, other program requirements.
Players that are Vested will receive an invitation to training camp in August and a Vested patch. Vested players will be eligible for Elite status, prior to the season, if they are “elevated” by the coaching staff.
