Why is the Football Dinner important?
The Brooklyn Tech Football Dinner is the yearly celebration of the varsity and Junior Varsity football and teams and the long legacy of Brooklyn Tech Football.
Four years ago (2012), James Gales was awarded the MVP for his outstanding senior season.  Gales would go on to be named the Wingate award winner for football, honoring the most valuable player in the PSAL.   He is currently completing his college football career at Princeton University.  Sitting in the audience that night was Amani Murphy, who received the award for Rookie of the Year on the JV.  The freshman of today will be the leaders of tomorrow.
Who will be next?
The experience of the football dinner is like no other.  Your high school football career will go very fast. Before you know it, you go from being the freshman in the crowd to the senior saying good bye.  The dinner allows us to not only bid farewell to our seniors but also show the way for the underclassmen that will one day take their place.
Make sure you join us at the dinner.  It is an important part of the experience of being on the Brooklyn Tech Football team.
Roll Tech,
Coach McKenna
