The Annual Brooklyn Tech Football Liftathon will place on May 25th as part of Pledge Week. If you are interested in supporting a player in the Liftathon and are looking for a player to sponsor, check out the worthy candidates below.

Lucas Christie – Rising Junior – Running Back and Linebacker Squat: 435 Bench: 285 Clean: 240
Lucas hit the field in the fall of his freshman year as a late addition to the JV team. His solid play led to him being called up to Varsity action for the 2014 playoffs against Grand Street Campus. Lucas started against Lincoln High school at linebacker during his sophomore year.

D’Avian Clayton – Rising Junior – Offensive Line and Linebacker Squat: 355 Bench: 205 Clean: 225
D’Avian “D-Train” Clayton came to Brooklyn Tech from the Bayside Raiders youth football organization in Queens and has been playing football for 10 years. D’Avian was brought up to play varsity during his freshman year and started several games at middle linebacker as a sophomore. D’Avian is interested in studying engineering and psychology in the future.

Michael Marcovici – Rising Junior – Quarterback and Safety Squat: 335 Bench: 210 Clean: 205
Michael Marcovici saw time at quarterback during his freshman year, playing in the season finale against Midwood and the Grand Street playoff game. During his sophomore year, Michael started at quarterback, wide receiver and free safety. Michael has taken an interest in photography and will be a part of the Media major at Tech next year.
