Announcing Program Honor Roll For Fall 2016
Following the posting of all the academic numbers for the first semester, I am proud to announce that 22 players will be recognized for their academic achievement on our new Academic Honor Roll and an additional 12 will be recognized as Honorable Mention.
Our criteria for Academic Honor Roll is a transcript GPA of 90 or higher on the Fall transcript. Our Honorable Mention category encompasses all those with a transcript GPA of 85 or higher on the Fall transcript.
Our players currently in the program (Junior, Sophomore and Freshmen) had a team academic average of 86. Much of the credit for this success can be Coach Adewumi’s study hall periods and the peer tutoring between team members.
Congratulations to all those who are striving to become the best student-athletes they can be.
